When thinking a luxury holiday, Wales may not be the first name that springs to mind, but dismiss it and you risk missing a fabulous holiday destination.

The coast has plenty of sandy beaches, with the west of the country replendant in lush green countryside.

The masses are drawn to the country because it has so many things to enjoy visiting and to see. You will find something of interest whether travelling with a family or a just a quiet break with a partner. Perhaps the biggest holiday draw for 2010 in Wales is the Ryder Cup. Wales will be holding one of the world’s best sporting events next year as the US team try to retain the Ryder cup after years of domination by the European team. if you don’t like golf then don’t worry, as there is plenty to keep interested such as test cricket, film, music festivals and international rugby.

If you do decide that your next holiday will be in Wales, you will not have a problem sourcing acceptable accommodation. If you so wish you don’t have to anywhere near a tent or caravan as Wales has a number of luxury accommodation, and you certainly can’t beat the experience of holiday cottages in Wales.
